2009 NRA National Junior Pistol Camp

The NRA is pleased to announce that it will once again host the NRA Junior National Pistol Camp. The camp is scheduled to be held July 14 – 18, 2009, during the NRA National Pistol Championships at Camp Perry, Ohio.

The camp will help junior shooters age 12 and above hone their pistol marksmanship skills in international and conventional pistol shooting, in a safe and enjoyable environment. This year’s camp attendees will have a unique opportunity to learn from three guest coaches, United States Olympic Pistol Team Coach Sergey Luzov, Olympic Silver Medalist and nine time World Cup Gold Medalist Ruby Fox, and nine time NRA National Pistol Champion Brian Zins.
 
 The pistol camp activities will not conflict with the .22 cal. stage of the National Pistol Championship match held on July 16, and students enrolled at the pistol camp will be able to also participate in the .22 cal. matches. Entry fees for the National Championships are not included in the camp registration fees.

Once again the NRA would like to thank The Ohio Gun Collectors Associationfor their continued support and generosity in providing first-time campers tuition and travel expense reimbursements up $500.00 per individual and up to a total cost of $5,000.00 for the entire camp.
